The Arizona barrel cactus is commonly two to four feet tall and occasionally reaches eight feet. Flower color varies from one plant to another. The orange to yellow flowers appear in late summer and are followed by striking bright lemon yellow fruits. These fruits may not last long, as they are savored by many animals.

Der Fasskaktus von Arizona wird normalerweise zwei oder vier Fu▀ hoch und machmal auch bis zu acht  Fu▀. Die Farben der Blⁿten variieren von Pflanze zu Pflanze. Die orangefarbenen bis gelben Blⁿten erscheinen im SpΣtsommer und werden von auffΣlligen hellen, zitronengelben Frⁿchten gefolgt. Diese Frⁿchte m÷gen nicht lange haltbar sein, aber sie werden von vielen Tieren geliebt.

El cactus barril de Arizona es com·nmente de dos a cuatro pies de alto y ocasionalmente alcanza ocho pies.  Las flores varφan en color de una planta a otra.  Las flores de color entre naranjo y amarillo aparecen al final del verano y son seguidas por una fruta de color amarillo fuerte.  Estas frutas en ocasiones no duran mucho, porque son apetecidas por muchos animales.
